  • I cannot tell you how much I love this place. I look forward to my weekly Saturday morning trek to this neighbourhood institution. It's my go to for fresh seafood, meats, vegetables and cheese. Oh and let's not forget that it's a great place to bring out of town guests. My family absolutely loves this place when they visit and it's a must-see EVERYTIME they visit. If you visit the market you must try the peameal sandwich at Carousel Bakery, or sample the latest cheese offering at Olympic Cheese, and do not forget to sample the prosciutto at Scheffler's Deli and Cheese. If you're feeling the urge to splurge, then pick up a little something for yourself and your guests at Caviar Direct, the guy there is extremely knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough.
