| - The fact that I have to break my years of not offering reviews, really shows how necessary it is to rate AJ Cleaners in Charlotte, NC.
I'll start by listing the Pros and Cons, then elaborate a bit further for those looking for details.
Pros:
* Conveniently located immediately outside of Holiday-Inn
* Offers a wash and fold service along with dry cleaning
Cons:
* Inconvenient hours of operations. AJ Cleaners is only open Monday through Friday; so if you're off work late and need to clean your clothes -- tough.
* Washed clothes are return folded, but still wet.
* Not all your articles of clothing will be returned. AJ Cleaners is notorious for misplacing your clothes.
* Not all the clothes you receive back will belong to you. Again, this establishment is notorious for misplacing yours and someone else's clothes.
* Customer service is abominable. Just when you thought you've set some low expectations, they will go below that expectation. Bravo!

The older review of the 1-star rating describe how AJ Cleaners lost her dress, but yelled at her about it.
The recent 1-star review, AJ Cleaners decided to respond back to the reviewer with insults tacked into their "apology." AJ Cleaners incorrectly weighed her clothes and charged her triple the amount they should; however, in their written response with their "apology," they insulted her by repeatedly insisting that she and her 50 colleagues were "unable to afford" their services. Smart move by AJ Cleaners as they challenged 50 people on leaving the rightful feedback deserved.
I traveled to North Carolina for business and used AJ Cleaners for laundry services due to its convenient location. Just like the other reviewers, I received my laundry back wet, but folded neatly in a bag. It makes me question if their hands don't feel the wetness while folding. One friend lost a sweater, while another friend lost several left socks - just the LEFT ones. WHY? What does AJ Cleaners have against the left sock?
Why would a business provide such sloppy service? Are they not looking for return customers since they're counting on the visitor/hotel guests?
As a business owner myself, I am appalled that this place does not understand the simple concept of customer focus.
