| - But..I didn't actually just get a wash. I got the whole enchilada done on my favorite wife's Avalanche. Even the engine bay. We had just gotten back from a three month 4000mi trip...with the cat and a macaw. I've worked in car washes (a LONG time ago) and I transported cars for years so I can really find problems. Non found. 12yr old paint is smooth, headlights are clear again, interior is shiny and the carpets clean, and tires, bumpers, and black surfaces are shining again. Paid a bit for it. Can't compare because I didn't check around, having had a vehicle done there some time ago. I know how long it would have taken me and I would pay them to do it again. The only down side was a salesman from Family Glass that put in a new W/S. Most of these insurance scams give you a taste back, a dinner or even cash back. Not here. That was not my issue though. He quoted a price on a headliner recover and later, my wife got a call, after they had the truck in their possession, saying it was going to cost $80 dollars more. She just wanted it done and agreed. When I called him on it, it was everybody else's fault and would not honor his original quote, not estimate, quoted price. If you're not sure, call your supplier. When you give a price, put your big boy britches on and honor your word.
