  • I have to admit that I'm not a fan of West Side establishments in general. They are so corporate and suburban as to make me forget I'm in Madison. That said, this Starbucks fits right in. Modern, sleek, overpriced, and uncomfortable. Even the patrons look like they came out of a Lands End catalog. Altogether generic. But if you need coffee and you happen to be in the strip mall section of University Ave., this is what is here.
