recently joined this facility (Reformer Pilates) after Bella (the owner) honoured a Groupon purchased last year. That was very kind of her. After the class, the instructor spoke with me and suggested I stay for her next class. Bella said that was fine. I stayed for no more than 10 minutes.
Bella contacted me a day or so asking if I'm going to join as there's only ONE SPOT LEFT! I did. All this was done via text messages. No signed contract, nothing (my bad a lesson learned). I gave her my credit card information via text (again, my bad). My credit card was promptly charged, $300. She did not send me an invoice or even a reply text advising that she charged my CC.
I attended 2 classes. Only 2. Unfortunately, after registering my work scheduled changed and I was unable to attend on those days. I sent Bella a text message advising her of this and asking for a refund for the classes I was unable to now attend. She responsed '.....my policy is no refunds. You can do 'drop ins'. I'm not interested in drop ins etc. I asked whether I can sell my 10 classes to an existing member...NO RESPONSE. I sent a few other text messages...NO RESPONSE.
I'm a single mom and $300 is a lot of money to me. I'm not crying wolf. I just never encountered a business woman who conducts a business as she does. No contract, no return messages, just blows you off. She got my $300 and I wish you happiness with this $300.
I will NEVER recommend this studio but will recommend Reformer Pilates. Her instructors were great but BELLA and WICKED BARRE is not a place for me or for anyone interested in trying Reformer Pilates.
Lesson learned on my part.
Peace and Love.
