While on this trail after about half a mile, you don't realize you're in the desert. This trail is listed as moderate on the guide provided but I thought it was easy ; of course this depends on your fitness level. Just a couple of small rocks to get over and a mild incline/decline. If you want a nice walk this is a good trail. There was some running water (stream) which was nice to look at and my dog enjoyed walking thru it for a cool down. I was disappointed with the end on the trail, by the description I expected it to open up at the creek but it just ended with boulders. Be careful climbing at the end if you choose too because the dirt/sand is very loose and it's easy to loose your footing. This trail makes for a nice day out especially if you're tired if desert scenery. Enjoy!
