Let's start with I love ulta. It's my go to when I need to hair products, brushes and tools. I went in on a Saturday looking for new foundation, I'd been using Mac but wasn't thrilled. I tried asking a sales associate about tarte, she was brief and didn't answer the question before walking away without asking if that helped so I decided to ask the lady who works at the benefit counter. She seemed nice and asked me what I was looking for. I told her a full coverage liquid foundation, she proceeded to put a cream foundation on my face. When I asked if she would set it she told me it looked better dewey. I expressed my hesitations and she told me to follow her. she took me to another sales associate and told her I needed foundation before walking away. This associate listened when I asked for liquid(she was using LancĂ´me 24 hour) but beyond that didn't have solid answers to my questions. Once she finished testing a spot on my face she handed me a mirror, by the time I finished looking at the spot she had already placed the box with the foundation in it by me and walked away. I tried asking for a finishing powder and she didn't acknowledge me. I understand Saturday is a busy day, but I felt as if I was just being shuffled around. Originally I had the Amazonian clay foundation from tarte in both the airbrush powder and the liquid with the kabuki buff brush, all I wanted was for someone to answer my questions about them and I would have been thrilled to buy them, mostly because I thought the brush was super nice. I ended up leaving with nothing. It was disappointing to not have anyone willing to take 2 minutes to answer a few questions.
