  • Another Pittsburgh staple, the Pamela's in Oakland is one of my favorites. They are really known for their breakfast and hotcakes, which come with strawberry, banana, chocolate and other varieties. The portions are satisfying and you really can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu. I got the 'famous' corn beef hash, and it was particularly delicious, with crispy not soggy beef mixed with their famous potatoes.
