I bought a pair of titanium glasses while I was on vacation in India. They are super lightweight, essilor transition lenses (signature VII), etc. The only problem is the ends were coated with something to provide more "grip" on my ears, but my skin is allergic to them. I didn't realize they were causing the allergy until I returned to the USA. After my return, I looked up an eyeglass repair shop using Google and found this shop nearby.
I told them about my allergic reaction and they started working on my glasses, but weren't able to finish them until the following day. This wasn't an issue for me as I had a busy afternoon of running errands. The next day I picked up the glasses and the temple tips were replaced with regular black plastic ones (similar to the ones I have on the eyeglasses I've had for years) for a very reasonable price.
Thanks All American Eyeglass Repair!!!
