So I think everybody needs to know about this new restaurant in Beechview called the Crested Duck Charcuterie. It is absolutely fucking fantastic. It is a small tapas place that specializes in high end meats. All of the meat is butchered in house and is from local farmers. All that grass feed no preservatives stuff. I am a huge foodie and can honestly say that I have never had a better meal in Pittsburgh. The Duck Liver and Honey Mousse was amazing and the Crispy Pork Belly was smack your mama good. The people who run this restaurant are clearly passionate about their craft. I cannot give this place higher recommendations. It has only been open for about two weeks, but I think that it is clearly going to be a shining jewel of Beechview. The service was incredible, Brian, our waiter, was amazingly pleasant and smart. A real treat to talk with. Everything about the experience was divine. If you are looking for great date experience, try this restaurant. It will not disappoint.
