  • Brought the family here and the experience was top notch. We had the seaweed salad, coal harbour platter, some aburi sushi plates, crab fritter roll, garden roll and dessert. Aburi sushi was the highlight hands down. It's pressed sushi that is flavoured and cooked with a blowtorch. Great for people who don't eat raw. On the other hand, I wasn't thrilled with the value of the coal harbour platter. If you want to sample a few things I guess it's a decent option but you may be able to get more bang for your buck elsewhere on the menu. Also, the desserts are not an after-thought at this place so don't miss. We shared the deconstructed pina colada and the chocolate ganache cake. Both are highly recommended!
