Horrible customer service by store employees and Ohio call center customer service. Placed an order online for store pick-up for 2 items, 1 of which was already supposed to be in the store. Instead of "authorizing" my payment method, JCP charged for the items (5 times) even though the order hadn't been fulfilled. Apparently either the JCP employees were too lazy to pull an item off the shelf or the website had incorrect information because both items were supposedly shipped and wouldn't be received by the store until long after the website stated they would be.
When I called to cancel the order the Columbus Ohio call center employee told me I couldn't cancel and hung up when I questioned her further. I called back and spoke with a supervisor who stated a store manager could "override" the order and credit back the payment method. I called the store, spoke with a manager, Sabrina who stated she would get everything taken care of. Instead I then receive a call back from Brenda, asking for my credit card number. Upon further questioning I was told by Sabrina that regardless of the items being in store or not they still have to have a credit card number to cancel/credit. How funny that once they charge you they sure don't want to give the money back. I was also questioned as to why I wanted to cancel the order, really not any of their business.
Considering that no one seems to know what's going on, there is no way I'm just giving these people my credit card number. This location and the call center employees just made sure JCP will not get anymore of my money.
