  • I come here about once a year and I have not noticed the decline in quality that people have been mentioning in the reviews. Maybe the quality of ingredients has gotten cheaper compared to ten years ago, but as of late, they have been very consistent. I do not know what to say that 5,000+ reviews have missed, so I will just share my experiences from a few dinners here. Last time, I did the Buffet of Buffets and added Bacchanal for the low, low price of $30? or so (this was on a weekday). Yes, it's pricy but, if you've never done it before, you might as well go for it. Because it was a weekday, there was no line. We were able to pay and be seated very quickly. On a weekend? Forget about it! You can wait up to an hour to receive a text that tells you "get in line" and spend maybe another half hour or more in line. Gives you time to check out Caesar's Palace - gamble, drink, or walk through the mall and pretend to be rich. That's what we do. You have the freedom to choose how you spend your hours waiting. Once you finally get seated, you're free! Unless you're a very picky eater or you're the gluten free, vegan, non-GMO, whatever type of person, you'll find something at Bacchanal. I always go for the dim sum and sushi. My first plate is always packed with dim sum. The quality is on par with real Asian restaurants that I've been to in the LA area. Their sushi is not particularly special, but at least it's not frozen. (Wait for my review on the Wynn's buffet. I'll tell you all about frozen sushi.) You cannot go to this place without getting a plate of crab legs. (Oops, accidentally submitted it without finishing.) I always get crab legs - especially when they're serving them straight out of the pot. Crab legs are always good, but they are much better hot than cold. Honestly, thinking back on my visits to Bacchanal, I wish I had tried more items. I tend to stay away from Italian and Mexican food at buffets because I eat that very frequently at home. I did make it a point to try their tacos, though. The spinning grill is a nice touch, but I prefer actual street tacos. Something about the grease makes them taste better. I think they have all-you-can-drink beer for $22? Never tried it, since I go there for the vast amounts of food. Overall, I recommend trying Bacchanal if you have not yet. It is pricy and there is a line on weekends, no doubt about it.
