| - I have been a customer with Park Place Infiniti ever since they started and took over from Towbin. My review has a very different perspective: I have been a customer since the beginning, and this has to do with my experience from beginning to end. Let me start by saying that I will never be a customer with this dealership again. Here is why: I bought an M 35 hybrid 2012 when it first came out. I bought it because I was trading in a five year old M 35 Infiniti that was already causing problems with a recent requirement for $3000 repair, which I completed. The new M 35 hybrid was the only model I liked and so I bought it. Yes, it cost a fortune. Since I bought it, over the last five years, I have only serviced it with Park Place Infinity service. This means that they knew exactly what was going on with my car and they knew how many miles I was putting on the car. I drive about an hour to get home and I'm in Las Vegas at least 2 to 3 times per week, so in five years, I put 115,000 miles on the car. When I drive, there are areas with about a good 10 minutes of driving with no cellular service. The representative that took care of my car whenever I came in never once told me that there was a problem with the mileage I was putting on the car. In fact, he kept telling me that the car is going to go to 150000 miles to 200,000 miles no problem. Wow! He literally had no idea what he was talking about!!! To think that I brought a car to be serviced with the same company and dealership that should know this car inside out, and to be misinformed, makes me sick to my stomach. It's bad enough that the sales person just wanted to make a sale and did misrepresent some facts about the car, but the fact that I could not be lead in a proper direction, in the meantime, is unacceptable. I kept getting offers to trade my car in for a new one. If I knew what the mechanic, at Infiniti, finally told me, when I finally got upset with them for not figuring out what the problem was with the car that kept popping up for six months, and I took the car in at least two times before in that last six months, the outcome would likely have been very different. They not only fixed the problem, with a temporary fix only, but the mechanic came out to talk to me and explained that, because of the mileage that I put on the car, if I continue to put this mileage on the car, it will be worthless in less than a year from now. It had to take me getting very upset, and it had to take a mechanic coming out to talk to me, to get the facts. Customer service should be intelligent service, not just a friendly face that consistently asks me to give them straight tens on their feedback when I get a customer service questionnaire because it helps them with their bonuses.
I like Infinitis, but I do not trust this dealership and never will again. I have chosen to go with a different car company, with an absolutely stunning and perfect car for what I need, especially in consideration of long-distance driving. Please be responsible and intelligent when picking a car. Read and learn the facts. The sales people will say whatever they can to sell a car, and this is at any dealership, so being informed is imperative. I got informed because I got angry, and I learned that even with this expensive dealership, the service is not anywhere near better than other places... just more smiles. The reason the dealership gets two stars and not one star is because a mechanic there was kind enough to help me understand what was going on with my car, and how a hybrid actually works, and I really appreciate that, but the friendly service one is exposed to, which is not the mechanic, is just a façade behind what I realized are clueless or irresponsible representatives as far as I'm concerned, who did not guide appropriately even though I brought my car in regularly and religiously whenever it had to be serviced. I was always told everything was good and my mileage was never brought up. I am very disappointed.
Of note, after much research, I found out that a hybrid is not meant to be driven long distances. I also learned, after researching consumer report and JD Powers, what the best cars are for long distance. This has been a wake up call for me. This dealership has made me someone who will never trust another dealership again, no matter how friendly.
