  • I came in with a 2008 Ford E-150. I was having problems filling the tank. The pump clicked off. Something was wrong with one of the check valve. No big deal. I needed to have it checked out before the van was heading to Los Angeles. The guy called me a hour later letting me know that they didn't find any leaks on the tank. No kidding? Obviously he didn't listen what I had to say regarding my problem and wrote "leaks over" on the paperwork. Wrong! So he called me again later and tells me that I need to replace the tank for $2,002 (!). The tank looks brand new, no rust, no holes, nothing is wrong but it needs to be replaced. I asked him why and he couldn't get me a straight answer. He had no idea what he was talking about. I paid $105.41 for the "testing time" and I walked away. I've never had any complains about Ted Wiens for the last 15 years. Something changed. Not for the best. UPDATE: I sent an email as requested. Never got a response.
