  • Just visited the Ak-Chin pavilion last night for the Jason Aldean concert and I couldn't have been more disappointed. This is the six concert I have been too and never have I ever waited over an hour to get into a venue! We got in line around 7:10 and by the time we got in it was 8:20! We missed the first two acts and only got to see part of Jason Alden's act when we were told to leave by security. The grass area was over filled so we took a place in front of a railing on the side of the venue closest to the entrance. We had a perfect shot of the stage and were by no means in the way of anyone! After a couple of songs security told us to move or leave! There was no signs stating you couldn't stand there! So after we pointed that out to the security officer he started yelling at us and pulling us away in a forceful manner. (Even though we were being compliant and cordial the whole time). The worst thing was after confiding with the security officer over our frustration of the place being over booked all he replied with was I know! My over all experience at this venue was horrible and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
