First off, I LOVE ice cream. I have gone to the downtown location when it first opened up and found that it was alright. Not really much to go back to, except for their different toppings (they also have hot drinks on the menu).
After my bestie and I went for dinner, we decided to go for some ice cream and settled on Sweet Jesus. The menu at this location is significantly smaller, and due to my allergies, I was limited to only a couple of choices. I ended up choosing the Bangin Brownie, one that is full of chocolate, Oreo crumbs and chocolate sauce.
Super messy to eat and made me feel a bit nauceous. However, once I got past all the toppings I quite enjoyed the soft serve ice cream (still felt nauceous after). Note: get the small size, that is all you will need. And gets lots of napkins and eat outdoors.
IMHO, I would stick with a cheaper alternative (for two cones it came to around $14 after tax) or go with a less flashy choice (plain soft serve anyone?)
