  • I was here once before and had a great experience. I've been following this restaurant on instagram, and couldn't wait to check it out. When I walked through the door, I was surprised that I had eaten there before! Tonight. We drove from Washington, pa to Pipers because we couldn't wait to have their scotch eggs and Check our their vegan options. Sadly, Both my friend and I were highly disappointed in the food and service. When we arrived there was a small wait. The host was kind and inviting which was nice. Once we were seated it seemed to go down hill quick. Our server was nice, but the service was horrible. In addition, my appetizer was completely overcooked. My friend didn't like that her scotch eggs came with hot sauce (I liked the hot sauce on my food). Our entrees were good, but mine was rang in incorrectly and they first brought out "beef" instead of "vegan"...... once I got it..... it tasted fine.
