  • walked in looking to maybe trade up my golf clubs...my sticks are about 8 years old. two floor people were busy chatting with each other and i felt like i was imposing by interrupting them. i asked specifically about callaway's flagship irons, the apex. they have three different models and i asked the employee what the difference was. he said "oh, it's the design". the "design". really? he obviously had no product knowledge whatsoever, despite what i'd expect to be one of the higher profile products they would sell. he also asked me my age and said "i didn't look strong enough" to use these clubs. i also asked him what my trade in value of my clubs would be, and he replied "well, we'd have to look it up". this was my first, and last visit to this merchant.
