Visited Jacks on 7/3 and the male bartender was extremely rude. I'm sorry you have a fun job and have to serve people beer and drinks, I know it's a huge burden. Lack of basic customer service skills, dirty looks when I asked a simple question about what beers you have, and throwing the credit card/receipt when we payed as if it was a good riddance. I know it won't affect Jack's at all, but the three of us won't be coming back.
Jack's also saves their overflow from the draft beers and has them sit in mason jars. We sat in front of the taps for a good 15 minutes and observed this disgusting action *The mason jars were there before we sat down so the beer sitting in them was older than 15 minutes*. When someone ordered that particular beer, they would start off by pouring that nasty room temperature beer into the pint glass and then top it off with fresh beer from the tap. This is all sorts of wrong, first off it's against health code. Secondly it shows what kind of product you serve and what you think of your guests. I mentioned this to the non-angry bartender *she was actually really nice* and her response was that they couldn't waste it. So I believe that this is coming down from the Owners/Management. I understand about controlling waste, but this is really down right wrong and disgusting.
