  • Thai Spoon is probably the best Thai restaurant in the South Hills and it was probably one of the first Thai joints to pop up in south of the city. Despite its expansion, it is still an intimate little space. I've tried a lot of items from their menu and everything has tasted great and fresh. I find that their noodle dishes are some of the best in the city, specifically their Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. Their flavors are well-balanced: not too sweet, not too salty and not too tangy. They also include a lot of veggies in their Drunken Noodles that other places might leave out. I've also tried their soups (specifically Tom Yum and Tom Kha) and although they taste good, they seem a little one-dimensional compared to other Thai restaurants I've tried. All in all, the food is tasty and it's a great place for Thai if you're in the south hills area.
