| - This place is A-ok! It's a little hard to locate if you're driving by since it's inside the Chinatown Plaza facing right! This would totally be a 5 star place if it didn't have so much surrounding competition.
I like this place for one reason: their quantity for the price! At $4.50, you get a huge 32 oz cup of milk tea (now I sound like a McTubby)!!! However, I feel like the quantity overshadows their quality. I've had their regular milk tea, their rose milk tea (not on menu but available upon request), and their lychee milk tea. While their milk tea is not bad, it tastes like every other cookie-cutter milk tea shop out there, which is one reason why it won't be a go-to spot for me. It's one of those tea shops that you happen to go to out of convenience if you're shopping nearby. Again, it's not bad, but there's not a distinguishing taste that would keep me coming back.
Same for their rose milk tea. I'm used to having rose milk tea where the rose taste slightly lingers on your taste buds in a refreshing way, but does not take away from the milk tea taste. The rose in the the rose milk tea was wayyyy too overpowering, so much so that I felt like I was drinking a bouquet!
The lychee tea is also sweet, borderline syrupy. They do have an actual lychee in your drink, though!!
Try their staple drink (milk tea)! They have a huge menu, too, so maybe you will find something you like!
