  • As far as cinemas go - this is not the fanciest but they stand out by not screening the big blockbusters, and instead they are screening high quality foreign films. I really like the option of buying a punch card of 6 movies for 45$. The location is a big plus too, since it's very accessible. I would personally prefer English over French subtitles for movies in other languages, but I guess in Montreal this is what you get (even though it's so close to McGill and the McGill ghetto). Tip - on half-price Tuesdays the place is packed! Come early. Especially if this is the first week for screening the film you are going to watch. Weekends are also crowded, but not as much.
