| - My experience here may not be at all common, so I have to say that right off the bat. My friend and I were out having dinner when another friend called and said to meet them at The Oak room. I had never heard of it, but we decided to meet up.
When we got there, there was a long line, but my friend had VIP so we went to the front and they let us pass the line and get in. I guess VIP is super expensive but gets you these wrist bands and lets you jump the line, you also get a nice little elevated sort of room where you can sit and you get bottle service.
The place was SO CROWDED, it was a Saturday night.. so no surprise there. The music was very good, the DJ was awesome. The crowd got a little crazy as I saw the bouncers or security whatever you call them run across and jump on people a couple of times, but didn't see why.
It was too crowded for me, but thank goodness we had the VIP or I don't think I could have stayed long, my days of clubbing are behind me at this point.
We did have a very good time, but after I saw the published "club photo" of our group, I was reminded why I don't do drinking til 2am anymore. LOL
Info I gathered:
There seems to be a restaurant attached and a more "sports bar" type area on the other side of this that is open through a door way.
Some people say that your tab is charged automatically at 2am and 20% tip auto added.
On your way out, there will be lot of police officers waiting outside, not sure why, but they are there.
People dress UP for this place. So don't try to go casual.
If you aren't VIP, or friends with Jerome, you should expect a line to get in.
The dance floor gets crowded.
No Valet, you park behind the place there is a lot and some street parking around too.
