  • Loved us some Buddy V's! So, full disclosure...I've never seen Cake Boss. I ate here because they had great reviews and sounded like the homey kind of Italian restaurant I prefer. Bestie and I were in a major hurry to catch our flight but had a hankering (and a reservation!) for Italian before we left Vegas.The hostesses were incredibly accommodating and let our server know we had a tight timeline. As a result, we sat, ordered and ate - including dessert to go - and drinks in a mere 30 minutes! Clearly a dining world record. Our server Kristin had impeccable recommendations. We started off with the caprese salad and then had lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs for our entrees. The pasta was cooked al dente as it should be. Everything was piping hot, fresh and flavorful. After the complimentary bread and breadsticks, there was no way we could eat all that food. Portions are this side of ginormous. The manager Adam came by to check on us and chatted about other Vegas restaurants we had been to even offering future menu suggestions for a steakhouse we had been to the night before. He clearly runs a tight ship while making sure guests are well taken care of and well fed. Will definitely be adding Buddy V's to my list of Vegas faves!
