  • After searching several stores and online for the modern, industrial look we are redecorating in (think restoration hardware minus the $$$$) I had come up empty handed. After a visit to another furniture store and talking to a designer, she thought maybe I would have better luck at The Dump! I had seen the billboards before but like one other person had said, I was immediately turned off by the name of the store (similar to Dress Barn...ewww)...but I was getting desperate to find furniture so I thought it was worth a shot! The moment I walked in, the perfect bed I had been searching for was right there! It was exactly in the color, material, size and design that I had been looking at RH but seriously, half the price. I was approached by Andrew a few minutes later after I had a few minutes to look over the section and he used his handheld scanner to tell me that there were only two left, one in the warehouse and the one on the floor. When I spotted another lady eyeing the bed, I made the decision to purchase the bed since I didn't want to lose out on it. Setting up their interest free, no payments for 48 months financing was easy. I was a little surprised after going through all of the paperwork though to learn at the check out counter that I needed to put 10% down. Coming up with the down payment wasn't an issue, but I was just surprised since I had just opening financing and it hadn't been mentioned before. No big deal, we worked it out and I put the money down but it's something you'll want to know if you make a large purchase here. You'll wanna hit up the ATM before coming! I purchased the bed on a Saturday and we scheduled delivery for the following Friday. I received a call the day before to confirm and the delivery truck arrived a few minutes early of its scheduled time. Delivery was fast and they set up the king size bed in 8 minutes! So glad we got the delivery and assembly. They weren't overly friendly but they got the job done! I'm looking forward to going back and hoping to score our nightstands and dressers to match.
