I didn't check Yelp before booking these guys shame on me. Domingo the owner came out and gave me an estimate of $480 to do the trimming of my palms and back yard clean-up as well as cutting the grass. His workers trim the palms and cleaned up the backyard nicely however they did not cut the grass. The next day when I went to pay Domingo for the services I said hey everything looks good but they forgot to cut the grass and he replied that no that is considered maintenance. I was shocked because almost $500 for a couple hours of yard work seems expensive in the first place so it was rather cheap of him to not cut the tiny little area that I have that is grass. Okay lesson learned I definitely won't do business with him again but I can live with that, but it gets better.
When he pulls up at my house with the bill he took the liberty of adding on another $400 on to his invoice that I had signed the day before. When I asked him what this additional fee was for he stated it was for the palm trees that they trimmed. But for them trimming the 6 palm trees in my backyard that was already factored in his cost at $35 a tree for the initial 480 that he quoted me. Anyway after I became incredibly frustrated that he tried to pull this he told me just to pay the original price because he doesn't want any problems. I would say you're going to have big problems when you show up at a client's house with a bill with an extra $400 tacked on. I guess he has had success with doing this since he sees its a nice neighborhood and figures he can squeeze a few hundred dollars extra out of me. You got the wrong Gringo if you think that's going to happen lol!!! Anyway skip these folks and roll the dice with another one of these landscaping companies just make sure to take pictures of any contracts that you sign for the total price which is what I did. And for god sakes never pay before you get the service
