| - Rao's is not the Indian restaurant you thought it'd be, in fact, it's an Italian restaurant.
The pasta is amazing. Every dish was al dente, perfectly seasoned, well-paired with the sauce. I was amazed as I've been low carb and every dish required a second look.
We started with the Fritto Misto - Calamari, clams, string beans, and some other stuff and it was lightly breaded, well fried, and perfectly cooked and salted.
The traditional meatballs were perfectly sized, seasoned, and tasty.
Capreze salad was well placed with fragrant tomatoes and a hearty burrata cheese lightly touched with a basal and balsamic reduction.
Ravioli Purses were the hit of the night. Outside was al dente, Bartlett Pears and Ricotta Cheese were accentuated with brown sugar and cranberries. It was a dessert course.
Vodka Penne and Sundried Tomato Chicken Penne were just perfectly cooked.
Bistecca was perfectly medium rare, tasty and a good end to the second course.
Super impressed by a restaurant in one of my least favorite casinos, Caesar's which is the Frankenstein of properties.
