  • I rarely find myself impressed. I've always read them for guidance, so will try to start leaving them. That being said, I've decided it's time to start. ve been going to our local Baskin Robbins since I was a child. Many years later, taking my own son became a fun tradition. The prices had skyrocketed, but this is true of most things today. Our tradition came to a halt a few years ago following several poor experiences. Sadly, most of which were with the owners. I'm uncertain if they still own this establishment, but they tended toward being downright rude. I never complain as doung so could impact their livelihood, but the last experience prior to tonight was so egregious, I asked to speak with a manager. My wonderful son has a "disability" that can make ignorant people uncomfortable. On that day, I saw her glare at him repeatedly and became upset with his questions. She grimaced and announced she was the owner. Few things in life that remain consistent over time, one of them being Baskin and Robbins Peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. This penchant blinded me to the horrendous customer service, but that night was the final straw. Admittedly, I tend to be a bit particular when it comes to customer service, but it got ridiculous. As a former stylist, impeccable customer service wasn't always easy. Hence my appreciation for those that shine. In industries with high expectations and low pay, Tonight, on a whim we stopped in for our Peanut butter and chocolate. It has been the toughest year of my life, so I braced myself for another less thsn stellar experience. Our visit tonight was awesome. I rarely find myself impressed, but Janelle was stellar. She was efficient, friendly and patiently waited out my indecisive nature. She also didn't bat an eye at my son. I hope this experience is an indication of things to come, as we love our Baskin and Robbins. Thanks Janelle! Give that girl a raise!
