  • This year's festival (2017) was utterly ridiculous and disappointing. Whose stupid idea was it to require the purchase of a $6.00 EMPTY plastic cup for alcohol consumption in the festival area? That means having one drink will cost at least $10 ($6 for the empty cup, $4 for a bud light). What a joke! Also the people manning the "official" beer stands had no idea about the types of beer they were serving and the people manning the ticket sales gave wrong info to my friend. Sweet corn was meh and super messy to eat. They ran out of napkins. Fortunately, I went with good company, and had fun despite the not-fun-festival.
