  • After reading the reviews of this shop I took a pair of women's leather boots to Artisans to have the heels replaced. Upon inspection it was found that the heel area surrounding the heel stem was cracked possibly beyond repair. I told the owner to see what he could do with them. I returned a week later not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised that not only was he able to repair the cracked heel as well as replace the heel caps but also repair some of the damage to the leather that surrounded one of the heel shafts. I found the service to be very courteous and informative. I will certainly bring my other more expensive shoes to this shop in the future! As for the hours, I believe the shop is open Tues-Sat 9a-2p and, yes, he only accepts cash. Keep this in mind and you won't be caught off guard.
