  • I seldom go to the Waterfront since most of the stores I can find where I live but occasionally need to get to Gordon's to buy orthotics. Since it was midweek parking was not a problem and I happened to notice this store. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly staff. They specialize in rugged apparel for men, women, and children. I happened to notice a durable vest I could use to stay warm in. The saleslady helped me find my size so I could try it on. I settled for a brown one since that made a good neutral. She told me that they were running a special that if you spend $125.00 (special runs till Dec. 18th) they give you a $20.00 reward you can use towards any purchase. I saw a purple stripe thermal I could use but they didn't have my size. The lady said it can be ordered and sent to my home free of charge. She told me that the store had been open for a year now and they are the only one in the Pittsburgh area. They have a 60 day return policy with receipt and they offer a rewards program. You earn 1 point for every $50.00 you spend. Once you earn 10 points then you are entitled to 30% off the entire store on your next visit. This place is by no means cheap but is comparable with other stores in the area that sell similar merchandise. Still I enjoyed the atmosphere and am looking forward to using my vest as an extra layer of insulation. I most definitely will return here next time I am in the Waterfront.
