  • I was ready to and tried to buy my Subaru here, but I stood in the showroom for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgment. I gave up and went to Murrysville to give my business to Cochran Subaru. Their service department is a scam. Definitely do not recommend. I went to West Liberty Subaru after a really disappointing time at Cochran in Murrysville. West Liberty tried to tell me that I was going to need brakes and a cabin air filter change, but when I looked at my multi point inspection sheet at home, the brakes were in the green. I went to change then on my own... and surprise, surprise... the brakes had a lot of life in them. I only had 14-15k on the car. Then, they gave me a high estimate (around $80) for an cabin air filter replacement cost... thankfully for youtube, amazon.com (around $10), and 5 minutes, I changed it on my own (its ridiculously easy). I'll never go to a subaru dealer service department again. I'll stick with my old regular mechanic shop. This subaru dealer clearly has some type of quota and are trying to sell unnecessary service.
