  • Wow, I am brand new in Phoenix, and live very near the Steele Indian School Park dog off-leash park. I have a whole different perspective. I love the desert flora there, I have NEVER seen an un-picked up dog pile, and have met some very nice folks and their equally nice canine friends there. Yea you have to walk a bit to get water, but, aren't you there for some exercise too? I gotta say, I really like the place. Dogs and grass do not mix well, and how many would complain if they got all the way there and the needed irrigation system was watering the grass?
