On two consecutive visits, I found items I wanted to purchase (which is rare because half the time all they have is crap anymore) but wasn't allowed to because of their "If it doesn't have a price tag, you can't buy it" policy. This last visit (yesterday) an African-American older female employee not only snatched the tagless item rudely out of my hand but claimed that "kids are always ripping the tags off...."
So, if that's true, maybe have the store manager that can offer a fair price when this happens?
I won't be returning until this policy changes. I'll do my thrifting at Savers and Deseret Industries. They are cleaner, have nicer staff, and don't have this bogus policy.
