| - This is the most hippy/hipster convenience store I've ever stepped into.
I was attracted by their sign that said they carried soy milk. I was fresh out! I went in and got stopped by the snack aisle, which had all sorts of organic, dairy-free, gluten-free and whatever-free treats. Yay for dairy-free ginger snaps! I *snapped* them up.
They also had a wide variety of milk alternatives, including the one I usually buy.
While walking to the counter, I saw a whole bunch of eco-friendly laundry detergent, which I also just happen to be out of. No Frills doesn't stock anything like this. I snatched up a bottle of that, too.
It's pricey, as all convenience stores are. The total for the three items was $25. But it was CONVENIENT, and it had everything that had been sitting on my grocery list for a while.
Plus, the place is quite clean and neat, and the person at the cash was very friendly. There was a cat walking around at one point, too.
