| - I just left this store a few hours ago & was very pleased with my experience. I made an appt on NOV 14 online, through the Discount Tire website. This particular location is not my usual one (never been here before), but they were the one nearest my new home that also had the tires I needed in stock. I arrived at 7:57 am for my 8 am appt and was greeted within seconds by Evan. I let him know that I had an appt, he said that they were just getting started and would be with me in a bit. They were just getting the computers booted up and the roll-up doors to the repair garage were still closed, so this made perfect sense to me.
Less than 5 minutes later, he called me to go outside and check my car. He asked what I needed done (new front tires), and checked the tread (there was none! LOL) We headed back inside to proceed. It's worth mentioning that 3-4 other customers entered the shop after I arrived, but he still waited on me first. So, he asked for my phone number, and found my appt in the system right away. He reviewed the info I'd provided on my scheduling form, double-checked my preferred tire type, offered me the tire warranty certificates (I'd already selected these when making the appt online), and informed me of the purchase price (exactly the same as what was listed online when I made the appt). I asked if I could pay right then, and he said yes. Super fast, and took about 5 minutes to get this done. He let me know there was cold water & hot coffee available and asked for my keys; I handed them over and he said it shouldn't take too long. He was not kidding! He let me know when the car was done and also informed me that since I only bought two tires, they would rotate them (old to the front, new to the back).
The tech brought me my keys, provided me the envelope with my warranty certificates and let me know the job was complete at 8:25 am! Super fast, so polite and no pressure to purchase other services/products. As a woman, I appreciate doing business with an automotive shop & not feeling like people are trying to get over on me. As I was leaving, Evan said, "Have a great day, stay warm". Genuinely kind interaction! On a related note: I also took notice of the way the employees interacted with the other customers who came in. They were very polite, quick to greet & assist and very professional. I'll be back, for sure.
