Hike to Arizona Hot Springs had it all. Hiking down to the Colorado River with a back drop of the colorful Eldorado Mountains with blue skies and lots of clouds is everything you want in a day hike. It's 6 miles round with an elevation gain of 940 feet. Technical in places and difficult overall. Hike through the wash on and off and over rocks along the ridge and into a slot canyon, very narrow at times. Every step is a stellar view. Now there's an abundance of wildflowers. There's 2 hot springs pools stuck in a slot that are so inviting. Take off your shoes and shirts and hop in, water is waist deep this time of year at 90º to 120.º
