  • I couldn't decide on what to bring for my Dad's Fourth of July get together, till I was driving down and saw the Cheyenne Shopping Center. Marie Callendars immediately came to mind. More specifically, the strawberry pie.... my ultimate favorite of all pies they offer. I gave the store a call and asked if they had any strawberry pies left. I got placed on hold, while the person over the phone was double checking. Unluckily for me, she said they were out. I was bummed, but I figured I should still drive in and get down to pick another pie. Once inside, I figure I give it another shot and I asked if they had any strawberry pies out back. I was in luck, score! I was able to snag 2 strawberry pies. One with whip and one without. They were having a BOGO for $4.99. Ofcourse I'm a sucker for deals and the chocolate pie sounded yummy, so I got that and asked for their recommendation on another yummy pie to take home. The gal helping me said everything is yummy. I saw a lie labeled, "sour cream blueberry" and figured I grab that one. A little over $40 later and I walk out arms full of pies. Everyone, including myself were beyond satisfied with the taste and quality of the pies. The strawberries were huge and sweet! I marked down a star cause when I called, the person said no strawberry pies left. I'm glad I got what I wanted and their service was pretty quick while ordering, too.
