  • We never knew tamales could taste this good; we love their tamales! We have been buying them at farmers' markets for about a year and have never visited their store. The tamales have incredibly moist and delicious masa with high quality fillings. Nice, big chunks of chicken breast, tender and juicy beef or pork, and just the right amount of seasonings. Our favorites are Chicken Green Chile and Green Corn Cream Cheese, followed closely by Beef Red Chile and Pork Red Chile. We always have Chicken Green Chile in the freezer. They also make seasonal flavors and some vegetarian / vegan varieties (the Mushrooms, Corn and Spinach flavor is fabulous). These tamales are truly addictive. The frozen tamales are fast and easy to heat: when heating one, I wrap with waxed paper or plastic wrap and add a couple of drops of water, then microwave 2 minutes on each side or until piping hot. Try them with a fried egg on top for a spectacular breakfast. As of this writing, all of their tamales are 8 oz. each. Pack of 2 $5.00; 1/2 dozen $15.00 1 dozen $27.00.
