  • I have yet to find my staple nail salon but I wanted to write a review on this place because this is one of the few nail salons that left me unsatisfied. Starting off with the pros: friendly staff, average prices (on the lower end side -- I got a plain gel mani and pedi for $65), great color selection. They take walk ins which is great -- thank you! I was in desperate need of a manicure as I had allowed my previous gel manicure to grow out way too long that it was starting to break a little (wah to my weak and brittle finger nails). This place was conveniently located off 215/Durango in a plaza full of other things. I saw this place on Yelp right next to a place I was having coffee so I chose this place out of convenience on a Sunday afternoon (another pro... Being opened on a Sunday!) Overall, the process of getting a mani and pedi was painless and easy. To be honest, nothing outstanding or noteworthy to say. I'm not going to say this is a con exactly, but the scrubbing was short (she did the exfoliation for about 2 seconds and rinsed it off) and no massage. I know some places dont really do it, but I figure the information would be helpful to those who seek it. Now to the cons... I did notice inconsistencies between the length and shape of my nails. Each finger was different from the next either in shape or length, or both! My thumb nails were extremely short compared to the rest of my nails and my index finger was extremely round shaped as opposed to a square one like the rest. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I was in the car and at that time the salon was past closing time. There was also quite a bit of a language barrier, which I rarely have a problem with. There was a lot of miscommunication between the pricing and color selection but the staff was very friendly. It was just honest confusion!
