| - First time I went here, was for dinner. The server was amazing and the food was perfect. Everything down to the latte with dessert. I love the decor, the plaid, and that they use ingredients from close to home (your food is super fresh).
I've since been back twice for lunch and their in limbo (you're too late for lunch - but too early for dinner) menu.
Food is great. I've never had a bad dining experience in that regard. Fresh whole wheat pizza, perfectly cooked turkey meat balls. It has all been delicious. But...
The service is getting progressively worse. the servers the past couple of times have been bad. Really rude. Even the hostess was rude. (Yeah and a frowny face should never be used to greet people...ever).
You'll find that even though the place is fully staffed, your server is struggling with a 4 table section of 4 tops. Our hipster plaid wearing man server was never around, and when he was, he was conversing by the bar completely oblivious.
In such a competitive restaurant market with us industry folks, I find it hard to believe that this place wouldn't have better service. Maybe the lunch staff is comprised of the minor leaguers, and the dinner is major league. Might just have to steer clear of the lunch hour crew until they get it together.
*dinner: Mac n cheese is amazing, and the grilled chicken is to die for. Don't forget about the brown bag apple pie.
*lunch: the fried chicken sandwich, turkey meatballs, veggie whole wheat pizza. Delicious. They do two fresh juices off the salad menu that are really good too. Lemonade is not fresh, and that makes me a little sad inside, but that's just one minor faux pas.
Five stars for food.
