Beware of hidden costs! I had a Groupon for this salon for a cut, wash, blow dry, style and all over color or highlights. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length with shorter layers and has grey hairs.
Lisa was my stylist and she seems like a very nice lady. I told her that I wanted to get rid of my greys and keep my length, so she mixed up a color to match my hair. She applied this color to my roots and 2 inches down. I asked if she was going to pull through the color to the rest of my hair and she said that she can do it for an extra cost. I was a bit baffled because the Groupon CLEARLY stated all over color. She convinced me that I didn't need the color all over because my old dye job (from another salon) wasn't faded. So fine. She dyed my roots and completed the process.
When I went to pay now, she charged me an extra $10 for the length of my hair! I was very confused because my hair isn't long and she literally only dyed my roots. She even made it seem like she was doing me a favor by only charging me the $10 for my length, and not charging me extra for dying my hair, which is what the Groupon was about.
I had to rush to a meeting so I paid and just left.
That was 5 days ago. Now that my hair has had some time to sit, I see that she didn't really do such a great job with the cut. The layers look very basic and kind of choppy. Will not be returning.
Bottom line: I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you still decide to go, ask them to be very upfront with their additional costs so you won't be shocked after they have already worked on you.
