When entering most antique or vintage shops, you are hurled into a mass of relics with no rhyme or reason to their placement . At BOA Antiques & Attitudes, you are invited to "slither thru time" and take a journey backwards from the present.
BOA is different from many other vintage shops I've set foot in. The chronological trip backwards through time is a fun feature. Set foot in the 60's and 70's room to see a variety of furniture and appliances from that era. Continue back through time as you are guided through the rest of the shop where you'll ultimately end up in the 30's and 20's before you hit the cash register. Each room has a television playing programming from that particular era. It's almost like you're there! But, not really.
All the prices are clearly marked and the items are all in very good condition. A couple of artists' works are featured in an early section of the store if you are looking for something unique to decorate the sad, empty walls of your one bedroom apartment.
BOA's name comes from the acronym of the owners' children... and for the life of me, I can't remember what they are right now. Sorry! Definitely worth checking out for the fun "time travel" concept alone. A very creative use of space and organizing the items for sale.
