  • So, the only reason my fiancé and I came to this restaurant was because we had coupons and didn't want to it to go to waste. Came here before, only for the bar and appetizers to watch a game. So today we walk in and sat down in the bar area. Chips and dip (salsa, bean dip, guac) came out immediately after we sat down. Then the wait for our waitress. The restaurant was slightly busy, but still had plenty of open seats. However I'm not sure if she was the only waitress for the area and maybe that's why it took her a little longer to get to us. The waitress comes, takes our order and grabs our drinks. That's when the wait begins. I'm not exaggerating when I say we waited 37 minutes for our food. Who I am assuming is a manager, (because he was wearing a suit), came out to every single table and told us our food would be out shortly. We all sat down at different times so how all 3 tables and some bar people received their food at the same time is beyond me. Back to the food. I had the chicken fajita. I managed to eat one which honestly wasn't bad. The peppers and onions were sautéed to my liking, the chicken was a little dry, but I put some of the guac on there which made it better. Mind you, I was waiting for 37 minutes, so I was pretty full off of chips and dip. Not complaining about that though, I don't mind left overs. My fiancé had Carne Asada which should have been some hamburger meat. It was thin, no seasoning, generic meat. Robertos has better Carne Asada...per his words. The reason I chose two stars. 1.) our waitress Amber Though waiting tables and getting a little behind, she was friendly and energetic. Again, we think she was the only waitress at the time and we are giving her benefit of the doubt for not being as prompt but her attitude is what got the star. 2.) the manager coming out to let us know our food was coming and also he offered us dessert on the house which we kindly declined. This place has potential but if you're looking for a Mexican place there's a better more authentic restaurant a few miles away.
