| - I like the deli, and our family don't usually eat Chinese food while in Charlotte - the food were just too bland and generic for our taste. We would always wait until we visit our families in either Atlanta, NYC, SF, or Boston.
If you prefer ambiance over food, then this is not the place for you. But if you don't mind to trade in those dining elements for some good authentic food, then this is a good place to check out. For us, Grand Asia have good food - it's simple, but very tasty. We live in uptown, and I don't mind the drive because it's either you spent the time (20-25 minutes) on the road, or you wait in line to get in to the restaurant, which it was never an option for us.
This is very kid- friendly, affordable place, the kids always look forward to get the fresh mango or Lychee bubble tea for dessert. I'm glad we are finally getting some real Chinese food here. We highly recommend this place!
