  • We came here for the happy hour oysters and were not disappointed. $1 for James River and $2 for Hama Hama, Kumamoto and Hammersley. While $1 was a good deal, the $2 tasted so much better. It's a difference you can tell, and definitely worth that extra $1. I ordered the Bergamot Kiss - citrus, refreshing, foamy egg whites. It was a soft and delicious drink. We also ordered the duck & sausage gumbo and the chargrilled oysters. The gumbo was great, and there were tons of meat in it. The chargrilled oysters tasted soo clean and good. We just came back from NOLA and this place brought us back "a little bit". The food and drinks were on point, but NOLA is delicious, dirty NOLA... However, Muddy Waters Oyster Bar is a gem in Pittsburgh nonetheless.
