Terrible customer service. The "Manager" Steve on shift after 5p last Friday is over promoted and under trained for a management position. He was visibly shaking in anger over a discussion I initially calmly presented to him. It got heated because I was seriously inconvenienced and he offered no help, I got frustrated and he acted like a school yard child. I will be taking the details to corporate. I have spent thousands is dollars at this store the past 5 years. When I told Steve I would not returning his exact words were "leave and don't come back". After I was out the door. I suppose I could have checked myself on the frustration but I had a legitimate business need and was offered no help and a bad attitude. Steve has no business in a leadership role. I would have instantly retuned the hundreds of dollars spent at the store based on my interaction with him had I not spent 3 hours shopping and having paint mixed. (Paint Department and every other department to be fair was awesome and I was really enjoying myself until coming in contact with Steve). Regardless.....I didn't need him to tell me not to come back. I will not be stepping foot in a HD ever again. I am a business owner and couldn't imagine treating a frustrated customer the way he did. Anyway....Lowe's it is. I'll drive the extra few miles.
