  • This Stamps Auto is the best repair shop I have ever been to! I have taken my 2008 chevy Impala in for 2 oil changes now and have just dropped in numerous times because of transmission issues and at the time Dave was simply awesome and very knowledgeable and always made recommendations even though nothing has been found with my transmission (yet). Recently, Wayne has now taken the place of Dave and Wayne is just as awesome! I took the impala and my daughter's 2001 Toyota Corolla in today for oil changes. The Corolla has lots of issues with 220,000 miles. Has never had anything done to it as far as I know. I asked Wayne to check it out while doing the oil because it leaks and burns oil, idles extremely rough and generally does not run well. Then I braced for the worst possible in repairs. Less than 15 min after dropping the vehicles off, Wayne called. The Corolla needed a valve gasket, and spark plugs. I explained that my daughter only had about $100 to put into it right now. She's a student and only works part-time. He figured out the cost and said he could do $180! We got the work done and when we arrived to pick up the cars, Wayne said he cleaned off the horrible corroded battery and sealed..no charge! Another thing is that these guys are quick! We brought both cars in with appts at 8am and they were completely done by 10:30am. We had only made appts for oil changes, 2.5 hours for 2 cars and the work on the Corolla was awesome! I am sure they saved us at $300 and probably the cost of an engine. I highly recommend Wayne and his crew at this Stamps location. Our cars will NEVER go anywhere else! Thanks Wayne!
