| - I am the luckiest girl in the world because I live so close to Sprouts! I was driving home and saw the "NOW OPEN" sign and whipped my car into the very crowded and hard to find a spot, parking lot. Walking in I expected total chaos but surprisingly, though busy, it wasn't overwhelming. This store seems to carry just about everything and I even had to go back later in the evening for a second trip to show the place to my husband and my sister. The store isn't huge but man, the design and layout packs so much inventory in without it looking junky. I'd liken it to, a combination of Whole Foods and Earth Fare with a touch of Trader Joes. They have baked goods, a sushi station, Kombucha galore(more selections than any place I've ever been to), lots of vegan options, a juice bar, a sandwich bar, prepared foods at the deli, and a butcher "shop" that has some really amazing, in house made, sausages. Try the sausages, try the smoked bacon(currently only $4.99/lb) it's really yummy. They have cheeses galore, and their self serve food bin area goes on for days. You can get as much or as little as you like of sweets, nuts, grains, seeds, beans, granola, snack mixes, dried fruit and more. There's a salad bar, olive bar and if I keep going this review will be way too long. I purchased baguette, Tillimook ice cream(heaven!), pate, smoked bacon, roasted bbq chicken, different varieties of frozen burritos(currently $2.00 off and just 99 cents), strawberries, organic eggs, cheese curds, and some other stuff I can't remember.
Check out was a breeze and on my way out someone won a $20 book of free items coupons and when I asked her how she won, she gave me the coupon book and thanked me for coming and being a loyal customer. Well, I'll take it. I think it was an employee who won and apparently you are randomly selected as you check out and she happened to be buying something for herself. Score!
In closing, you really have to visit and take some time to navigate the shelves, aisles and bins to really see all they offer. I really like how it's like the condensed version of other stores with just as much selection. The one negative thing is, I really think parking might be a nightmare once the other businesses, that are being built, open. It seems like it's not going to be enough but maybe they are planning to add more parking as the construction continues. And they have great opening specials and I hope they continue to offer great deals by making pricier items a bit more affordable even if it's temporary.
Give yourself some time and take a look around, I'm sure you'll find something here that you will love.
That is all!
